The Institute’s vision is to provide quality nurses with spiritual vision to the society. Every year the faculty and staff members look out for newer ideas to improve the quality of nursing education. Students are empowered with values and modern healthcare nursing practices in order to serve and discharge their duties with care, compassion, commitment and competence. To meet the ever increasing demand for well-qualified trained nurses in India and abroad, the Institute runs General Nursing & Midwifery Diploma Course (G.N.M.) since the year 2005 and Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing Course (P.B.B.Sc.) since the year 2009 till 2017.

The award was given by Indus Foundation, USA in association with Indian Medical Association (IMA), Government of Telangana and A.P. Federation of Commerce & Industries at Hyderabad.

Xổ số ba miền hôm nayA special subject ‘Spiritual Care Nursing’ is taught along with the nursing curriculum to refine students’ soft skills like sympathy, compassionate patient care, communication, etc.


 


FACULTY


The Institute has a committed faculty team comprising of well-qualified, experienced full-time and external lecturers catering to the learning and developmental needs of the nursing students.


 


TEACHING METHODOLOGY




  • Techniques like Role Play, Street Play, Power Point Presentation and Educational Visits to various institutions are used

  • Students are taught practical procedures in the spacious state-of-the-art nursing laboratory with mannequins, models and audio visual aids imported from German and USA Computer Lab

  • To gain expert competencies in clinical practice students are provided clinical experience through Bhaktivedanta Hospital & Research Institute and in collaboration with other hospitals

  • The digital hi-tech library housing more than 3000 medical and non-medical books along with National and International Journals aids in the learning process

RESEARCH ACTIVITY


Xổ số ba miền hôm nayThe Institute has sponsored research program activity to its credit. The current ongoing research project is ‘Effect of Pressure Bed on Prevention of Bedsore’. All research studies carried out by the Institute are approved and validated by the Research & Ethics Committee of Bhaktivedanta Hospital & Research Institute.


 


WELFARE ACTIVITY


Xổ số ba miền hôm nayFor educational activities such as workshops and training, the Institute regularly makes efforts to get grants from various authorities. The Institute has been successful in receiving a grant for the Book Bank Scheme for poor and needy students and fund for organising workshops from the Maharashtra University of Health Science (M.U.H.S.), Nashik. Further even eligible students receive scholarships under minority, reserved caste or EBC scholarship schemes. 


As part of Corporate Social Responsibility, the Institute has initiated ‘Swach Bharat Abhiyan’ in its vicinity. In addition to this students and staff conduct various Health Check-Up Camps in the rural and tribal areas.

The Institute offers 100% job guarantee in Bhaktivedanta Hospital & Research Institute or any of its affiliated Satellite Centres to all the successful candidates. Students interested in further education pursue short term or fellowship program in an area of nursing specialty to enhance their knowledge and skills for providing expert, quality care to the patients.
