The Department of Otorhinolaryngology (ENT) is committed to providing comprehensive, individualized medical and surgical care for the diagnosis, treatment and management of ear, nose, throat, and head & neck disorders. Specialists trained at reputed institutes in India and abroad are providing modern evidence based treatment to all – from children to the elderly. Approximately 1000-1500 outpatients are examined monthly and around 400-500 surgeries including planned (elective) and emergencies are carried out annually. The department is well-equipped to perform diagnostic procedures like Otoendoscopy, Nasal Endoscopy and Direct Laryngoscopy. To ensure best outcome, the Department functions with a multi-disciplinary approach involving specialists from other clinical branches – Chest Medicine, Onco-Surgery, Plastic Surgery, Acupuncture and Ayurveda.

OUTPATIENT SERVICES

Various clinical conditions are diagnosed and treated.

• Ear: Wax removal, Otomycosis (Removal of Fungus), Acute Otitis Media, Serous Otitis Media, Barotrauma, Foreign Body Removal, Aspiration of Seroma (Swelling of pinna) and Chronic Suppurative Otitis Media.


• Nose: Allergic Rhinitis, Deviated Nasal Septum, Nasal Polyposis, Foreign Body Removal, Nasal Vastibulitis and Epistaxis


• Throat: Tonsilitis, Tonsillo Pharyngitis, GERD, Thyroid Disorders, Salivary Gland Disorders, Cervical Lymphadenopathy, Foreign Body Removal and Punch Biopsy from Oral Cavity

EMERGENCY SERVICES
